I sold all my Panda bags at the Pop up shop but unfortunately I forgot to save one for submission which was slightly stupid... luckily I had kept one for myself. I had to wash it as it had an unsavoury brown stain on it, which unfortunately caused the design to fade dramatically. This should not have happened, however next time I will heat press the designs after they are printed to help seal them better.

Ponya website modifications
Following the advice and feedback I received from the last crit, I decided to make the following changes to the website design for the Ponya product range:
1) Change the background - it was agreed in the crit that the existing noise heavy background was too distracting and was taking the attention away from the products. I have changed this to a simplistic white background and made the boxes which the product images are contained in slightly darker.
2) It was also discussed that I needed to specify where the product is found - not necessarily photograph the products in shops, but more specify which shops it could be found (other than the online shop). I have added a 'stockists' tab to the website which contains a list of shops where the product can be found in the form of a concession, as well as a submission form for potential wholesale partners which was something I found from my research that a lot of similar brands do have on their websites.

Christmas card designs
Ponya website development
I have spent last night and today working on the website for the Ponya brand I have created for my second main brief. I have mocked up a range of products including home ware, gifts and prints; all of which carry one of 5 Panda illustrations which make up the brand identity. I have worked on the 3 product pages today and the overall appearance of the website and how it functions. I came up with some designs on paper which I have translated pretty accurately to screen. I have experimented with layout, colour, drop shadows, flat colours and transparency, and while I am not yet perfectly satisfied with the result, I think I am getting there......
New illustrations
Working process for new panda illustrations....
I decided to design a festive panda as part of the range of illustrations so I can apply it to christmas cards to sell at the pop up shop. I am really pleased with the colours and the aesthetic - I don't want to use too typically festive colours so that my design stands out as a bit different.
Unfortunately, my computer crashed in between saves! So I lost this design which took me a lot longer than the others to get it just right. I re-did it yesterday but I am not 100% happy with the re-work, I think that I might re-do it if I have time.
